Mission Yogurt, Inc. is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team at Timberline Steaks & Grille , reopening soon at the Denver Airport! 

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing restaurant operations to ensure operational efficiency, profitability, and a positive guest experience. This role manages day-to-day staff operations, assists with financial performance tracking, and ensures compliance with company standards and procedures. The AGM serves as a leader and resource for both front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

What We Are Looking For:

• Candidates who possess at least three years of full-service restaurant management experience.
• Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction.

• Ensures safety and security of both guests and team members.
• Prior experience with multi-unit management is strongly preferred. 

Job-Specific Duties:

• Assist the General Manager in setting objectives and targets for staff.
• Determine staff needs and prepare schedules.
• Participate in coaching, counseling, training & development of staff and managers.
• Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff.
• Be fluent in health department inspections.
• Communicate company policy, standards, and procedures to staff.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages and dishes to meet set standards.
• Interact with customers to develop loyalty and handle customer concerns.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of front-of-house areas and staff.
• Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to cash management procedures.
• Responsible for daily fiscal management.
• Ensure adherence to stock control procedures; monitor and order supplies.
• Strong grasp of food cost, financials, and inventory control.
• Check all deliveries, ensure product is correct, rotated, and stored properly.
• Oversee the bar display to maximize functionality and attractiveness.
• Work with marketing team to organize promotional activities.
• Maintain regular communication with restaurant staff and management through meetings and discussions.
• Stay current with relevant legislation regarding service of alcohol, sale of tobacco, and licensing.
• Work with Human Resources to address disciplinary issues with team members.
• Maintain up-to-date communication with the corporate support team.

Physical Demands:

Position requires the ability to stand up to 12 hours, climbing, kneeling, squatting, pushing, pulling, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 20 lbs and occasionally carrying up to 50 lbs.
