CDL-A Truck Driver - Day Trip, Regional & OTR Routes Available

Cobra Logistics Inc. is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for multiple route types delivering windows and sliding glass doors to job sites, distribution centers, residential locations, and dealers. Intermodal opportunities also available. Choose the schedule that fits your life — Day Trip, Regional, or OTR.

This is a touch freight position — drivers are hands-on in securing, loading, and unloading product, not just driving.

Choose Your Route

Day Trip Driver – Home Every Night
Local and short-haul routes with predictable daily schedules.

Regional Driver – Home Weekly
Out 2–3 nights per week, covering a multi-state region with more variety than local runs.

OTR Driver – Scheduled Home Time
Longer-haul routes across a wider territory, with possibility of home weekly.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer delivering windows and sliding doors to customer and job site locations
• Perform touch freight duties — securing, loading, and unloading fragile glass and door products by hand
• Use proper load securement techniques (straps, blankets, dunnage) to prevent damage in transit
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and proof-of-delivery documentation
• Communicate proactively with dispatch on routes, delays, and delivery issues
• Represent the company professionally at customer and job sites
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Drop hook opportunities available

What You'll Need

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean driving record; able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
• Comfortable with touch freight — hands-on loading/unloading of large, fragile items like windows and glass doors
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver bulky, fragile freight (with assistance/equipment as needed)
• Flatbed, box truck, or specialty freight securement experience a plus
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Willingness to work the schedule for your selected route type (Day, Regional, or OTR)
