Spanish Interpreter - Nashville, TN

Are you fluent in both English and Spanish? Do you have experience working as an interpreter? LTC is an interpreting agency looking for contracted Spanish language interpreters in Tennessee. You will accept appointments on an as-needed basis. The ideal interpreter has 3 years of experience interpreting and has experience in a variety of medical settings, social work, education and workplace settings, among others. Responsibilities Provide on-site, in-person interpretation. Act as a liaison using the client’s preferred language. Accurately interpret appropriate to the setting and audience. Comply with all state, local, and federal laws and regulations regarding privacy and confidentiality of medical information, including HIPAA. Qualifications Interpreting certifications. Minimum of 2 years medical interpreting experience. Minimum of 3 years overall interpreting experience. Ability to keep accurate records. Independent contractor status – not an employee of LTC; will function as a vendor, providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.
