At ESS, Mental Health Technicians and Clinicians are trusted partners in shaping supportive school environments. Responsibilities Partnerclosely with ESS clinicians to support students' mental health andoverallwell-being Monitor and track student progress, providingtimelyupdates to the interdisciplinary team Assistin the development,implementationand reinforcement of the individualized care plans Co-facilitate group interventions andstudentsupport sessionsunder clinician guidance Supporttherapeutic milieu management(e.g.,scheduling sessions, managingpasses,lunch support,skill building, escorting students) Providein-classroomsupport throughobservationand targeted interventions Collectand trackstudent data;assistindevelopingBehavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)as needed Respond tocrisis situations effectively, coordinating with clinicians, school staff, and parents asdirected Collaborate with family andexternalproviderstostrengthen studentsupportsystems Assistwithcase managementtasks,including referralsand connectingfamilies to community resources Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field Minimum of2 years of relevant experience in a school or clinical setting supportingstudentbehavioralhealth Experience working with students,families,andcommunity-basedmental healthorsocial service agencies Strong interpersonal, problem solving,and communication skills Knowledge of basic therapeutic interventions and counseling techniques Ability to collaborate effectivelywithin a multidisciplinary team Culturalcompetency and sensitivity to diverse student populations Demonstratedcommitment to improvingaccessto behavioral health services inschools Why Staff Choose ESS School-day schedule — No weekends or on-call requirements; occasional evening hours as needed to support family engagement Light summers —10 hours/week for 5 weekswith full-time pay Small caseloads Ongoing supervision, clinical support, and free CEUs Competitive salary + comprehensive benefits Clinical leadership at the heart of our company –guided by a CEO with a clinical background Equal Opportunity Employer ESS is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment on the basis of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, veteran status, disability, or any other federal, state, or local protected class. #J-18808-Ljbffr Effective School Solutions
