Job Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including prepping operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and delivering surgical instruments during surgeries
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, discharge coordination, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• Thorough understanding of surgical principles and sterile techniques
