Nursing Home Regional Medical Director

Overview The Nursing Home Regional Medical Director is an important member of the healthcare team in a nursing home, responsible for overall coordination of care and implementation of policies related to the residents in a nursing home. The role provides strategic direction, medical leadership, and ensures delivery of high‑quality employee and patient care. Responsibilities Provide medical expertise and guidance to the organization Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures Supervise medical staff and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards Conduct research to improve patient outcomes and quality of care Manage medical management activities including utilization review and case management Oversee critical care services and ensure optimal patient care Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care delivery Oversight and growth of the Specialty Division in our Nursing Home Division (Bronx Medical PC at Essen Health Care) Serve as Facility Medical Director for a select number of facilities on behalf of NH Division (Bronx Medical PC at Essen Health Care) Qualifications

MD/DO
