IT Cybersecurity Specialist

As an IT Cybersecurity Specialist at the GS-2210-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:

Managing a full range of cybersecurity and IT-related services, operations and projects, which may include access to classified programs and handling classified and/or sensitive data.
Planning, designing, implementing the IT service, equipment, application, system and/or solution's architecture hosted either on-premise or in cloud native platform environments ensuring the solution meets cybersecurity requirements.
Leading a full range of IT projects and services through the IT change control process ensuring the proper application of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), cybersecurity, and information assurance policies.
Writing, reviewing, and maintaining detailed technical, project planning, and management documentation.
Tracking and overseeing implementation of vulnerability management mitigation to include effective and timely cybersecurity patch management.
