We re seeking a CRNA for a full time locum tenens opportunity in Roanoke, Virginia at a Level I trauma center . This is a day shift role with a complex case mix, long term stability, and strong integration with the permanent anesthesia team.

Highlights

• Locum Tenens 1099
• Start Date: August 10, 2026
• 6 12 month assignment with extension available
• Full time only (no 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedules)
• Day shifts only
• No 24 hour shifts
• Level I trauma environment with highly complex patients
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing typically days
• Travel covered or monthly/weekly travel stipend available

Pay

• $240 $250/hour
• $3000/month stipend + Car Rental
• OT available after scheduled shifts

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 8 or 10 hour shifts
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Must be available to work Fridays
• Consistent weekday coverage; no rotating block schedules

Case Mix

• Neuro
• Orthopedics
• Trauma
• General Surgery
• GYN
• Endoscopy
• No OB
• No Cardiac

Practice Environment

• Acute care hospital setting
• Medical direction model (loose supervision)
• Locum CRNAs are treated the same as permanent providers
• Strong culture focused on continuity and long term integration
• New hospital wing opening with ongoing locum needs

Requirements

• NBCRNA required
• Active Virginia license (compact accepted; licensing candidates considered)
• Comfortable in a high acuity Level I trauma environment
• Able to commit to long term, full time coverage
• Flexible with RTO requests (advanced notice required)
