Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a ServiceNow Senior Developer for a W-2 contract opportunity in Detroit, MI!

Location: Candidates may not sit in the following states: California, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Washington State. Schedule: Remote Duration: 6 months Role Type: W2 Contract Engagement

Schedule: Shifts can start between 6.30 a.m and 9.30 a.m-40- hours a week. Day shift with some flexibility on start and end, occasional need for after-hours or weekend coverage as our deployment and support needs dictate. We are supporting a 24/7 healthcare operation.

Education Required:

• BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent work experience

Experience Required:

• At least 3 years' experience in a health care environment with knowledge of HIPPA
• SQL Experience
• At least 4 years' application/system development/programming experience
• At least 3 years of ServiceNow experience

Job Description:

The ServiceNow Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions that meet business and operational requirements. This role partners closely with Business Analysts, Process Owners, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. The Senior Developer will lead development efforts, participate in design, and code reviews, support production environments, and ensure the overall health, performance, and compliance of the ServiceNow platform. This position requires a strong technical background in ServiceNow development, application programming, system integrations, and healthcare industry compliance standards, including HIPAA.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Works with Business Analysts/Process Owners/Requesters to gain an understanding of functional requirements and to develop technical designs and solutions.
2. Analyzes requirements, designs, develops prototypes, and works with the Business Analysts/Process Owners/Requesters to fine tune the application and make recommendations.
3. Participates in peer/code/design reviews to verify that quality standards and functional/technical requirements are met.
4. Design, code, test, and implement moderately complex programs; develops appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established IT standards.
5. Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
6. Enhances existing systems; participates in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews.
7. Supports production systems by helping resolve problems, providing timely follow-up on problem report, optimizing performance and streamlining processes.
8. Participates in inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
9. Provides support, escalation response to production problem issues/errors.
10. Performs root cause analysis and application resolution.
11. Provides on call second-level escalation response for client issues and application tickets
12. Ensures proper documentation and on-time delivery of all technical artifacts and deliverables.
13. Keeps abreast of new Tools & Technology and functionalities across the application
14. Promotes teamwork and leads by example. Has a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to prioritize, complete tasks on time, and meet deadlines.
15. Initiates a personal training plan, continues acquiring skills and knowledge, and pursues an understanding of the organization's business plans and strategies.
16. Maintains the highest standards of honesty and integrity. Maintains confidentiality of employee, customer and corporate information.
17. Provides general support, administration, and maintenance for the ServiceNow platform
18. Creates custom applications, record producers, catalog items, reports and dashboards.
19. Monitors health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
20. Coordinates application and platform upgrades.
