Grow your career while you help make a better future for our clients and families.**As a SEA employee, you’ll enjoy a competitive benefits package and programs including, but not limited to:** *Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance options** *Flexible Spending Account and Commuter Spending Account** *Employee Assistance Plan for work life balance** *Retirement Savings Plan (403b) and matching** *Supplemental Insurance Options** *Life Insurance** *Paid Time Off** *Paid Holidays** *Corporate Discounts***Position Summary:**Responsible for providing wrap-around services with emphasis on providing job skills preparation to high risk youth, ages 14-25 and their families.**Duties and Responsibilities:*** Maintains client files.* Creates and implements activities/workshops for youth and families.* Provides a long term plan of action for each clients which includes direct services and referral services, including, neighborhood-based case management, relocation and transition, educational support, referrals to housing, mental health, substance abuse treatment, and tattoo removal etc.* Advocates for the client when needed.* Works with parents/guardians/siblings and provides services to the family, if needed.* Coordinates all activities for the client and families with the various stakeholders in the person’s life including school officials, employers, probation officers, law enforcement officials, etc.* Coordinates with program coordinators as needed.* Maintains confidentiality and comprehensive confidential case files.* Monitors agencies to which clients are referred to assure quality service.* Works collaboratively with other case managers.* Coordinates and collates monthly program reports.* Performs related duties as required.\*\*Related duties as required are duties which may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s class of work.## Qualifications and ExperienceAny combination of experience and education likely to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities, typically:* Bachelor’s degree in a related field(preferred)* 1 to 3 years of experience in related field.* 2 years’ experience working with at risk or probation youth.**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Principles and practices of organization and administration* Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation.* Personnel policies and procedures.* Use independent judgment and initiative.* Applicable state and federal laws.* Community resources.* Human behavior and social science.* Capacity to work collaboratively as a team member.* Clear, succinct writing skills.* Communicate effectively in oral form.* Display sensitivity, tact, and responsiveness in various stressful situations and needs.* Maintain high level of confidentiality.* Handle public contact and relations effectively.* Plan short and long-range projects* Analyze and resolve problems.* Interview skills.* Develop and maintain effective working relationships.* Use independent judgment and initiative.* Organize and direct several activities.* Delegate work and responsibilities.* Handle feedback and constructive criticism.*\*Soledad Enrichment Action strongly values diversity, equity, and inclusion and is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
