About Us

Hollymead Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, 4-doctor practice offering general practice and urgent care to the Charlottesville community. Formerly VETSS (Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialty Services), our hospital has proudly served the area for over 30 years. In 2018, we transitioned from emergency care to a focus on urgent and general veterinary services, evolving to meet the community's needs.

Our mission is to empower pet owners through education and compassionate care, while creating a work environment that supports the growth and well-being of our team.

The Role: Medical Director

This is a hybrid role combining clinical practice with leadership responsibilities. You'll work primarily as a practicing veterinarian while helping guide the medical standards, mentoring newer doctors, and partnering with hospital leadership to drive team development.
