Primary Patient Population: Adult Status Epilepticus Encephalitis Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Primary skills utilized/learned: Detailed Neurological assessments ICP Monitoring Medication titration Managing surgical drains, mechanical ventilators, body temperature, & CRRT Personnel RN will work with: Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work, Speech Therapy, PT, OT, Dietary Number of beds on unit: 8 beds Awards or Recognitions the unit has received: MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
