Senior Quantitative Analyst

Position Overview Senior Quantitative Analyst responsible for resolution of complex problems or transactions, requiring interpretation against policies, guidelines, or processes. Requires full ownership of one or more processes, reports, procedures or products; may serve as analytical or procedural expert representing a unit or team on cross‑function projects. Responsibilities Provide quantitative support throughout the Risk or Finance divisions. Implement, model and validate quantitative models including PD, LGD, ALM, CCAR, QRM, MRM and Economic Capital. Support development and implementation of quantitative and statistical models. Develop, maintain, and back‑test models to support respective lines of business. Respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests for quantitative modeling. Incorporate Comerica and Fifth Third data and processes during the integration period. Responsible and accountable for risk; exchange ideas, elevate concerns, follow policies and procedures; ensure positive customer experience while operating within the bank’s risk appetite. Qualifications & Requirements Knowledge of Comerica data and processes preferred. Advanced degree in quantitative analytics, economics, statistics, engineering, or related field. 4–5 years of experience in statistical/econometric modeling and database management. Database experience in Snowflake, SAS (statistical modeling), and SQL. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Preferred experience with Python, R, SAS (statistical modeling), SQL, Git, Amazon SageMaker, Snowflake, and VBA. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Professional image presentation. Teamwork ability. Multi‑tasking and flexibility. Prior management experience and evidence of leadership is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: 82,100.00 – 172,500.00 USD per annum. Base salary reflective of national pay grade; eligible for incentive compensation plan.
