Personnel Management Specialist

We are seeking a Personnel Management Specialist to support our client in El Segundo, CA. You will be supporting the Management Operations Division within Space Systems Command Space Systems Integration Office (SSC/BZO). SSC/BZ is responsible for supporting and integrating current and future space acquisition programs, responding to warfighter requirements, evaluating emerging technologies, and communicating with international, commercial, and inter-agency partners.

This position interacts with a civilian NH-04 Division Chief and Directorate leadership on a daily basis. The individual will provide personnel management support to Space Force customers in El Segundo, CA. You will be in the premier space acquisition organization responsible for delivering space-based capabilities and effects to our warfighters and allied partners. Key duties associated with this position include:

• Apply critical thinking and experience to develop solutions for our customer's most challenging issues
• Manage the Directorate's military and/or civilian manpower program to include disseminating information to military and civilian personnel as well as their supervisors
• Build weekly reports and briefings
• Create documents and staff packages
• Understand Department of Defense, Air Force, and Space Force organizations, processes, procedures, instructions, and guidance
• Support customer meetings, which includes providing read-ahead materials, drafting meeting minutes, and tracking assigned action items
• Experience working with MilPDS, Record of Performance (ROP), SURF, cord docs, Unit Manpower Document (UMD), Dept of Defense Performance Management & Appraisal Program (DPMAP), Cilvilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo), etc.

Salary Range : $90,000 - $115,000k/year

Qualifications:

US Citizen and possession of a current Secret Clearance

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of an associate's degree in a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Expertise using MS Office applications and DoD, Air Force, and/or Space Force training tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of bachelor's degree in a related field
• 20+ years of relevant experience
