Physician - Corewell Health Family Medicine - Berrien Springs, MI

Corewell Health Family Medicine – Berrien Springs is seeking a full‑time physician. New graduates welcome. Call ratio 1:3. Office hours Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm; no weekends. Appointment lengths 15 or 30 minutes for acutes, follow‑ups, physical exams, new patients, pediatric care, PAPs/pelvic exams, routine procedures (I&D, joint injections). Physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine. Physicians will use EPIC EHR; a fluency dictation system is available, and Abridge, a generative AI platform for clinical conversations, is offered. Corewell Health also provides Inboxologist services. Compensation includes a two‑year salary guarantee, potential productivity bonus, and a starting bonus. The position qualifies for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program (up to $100,000 over three years). Essential Functions Assess and monitor patients/significant others’ medical needs. Provide quality medical services in a cost‑effective manner; ensure coverage of case load. Contribute to policy and procedure development related to medical practice and quality patient care. Oversee Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and other delegated services. Evaluate and meet educational needs of patients, staff, and significant others. Document consistently with regulatory standards. Communicate with health‑care team to ensure continuity of care and coordinate services; act as patient/family advocate. Participate in continuous improvement activities – clinical pathways, process improvement, and other initiatives. Work with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient‑satisfaction goals. Qualifications Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Licensed physician in the State of Michigan (MD or DO) upon hire. Controlled Substance license in Michigan upon hire.
