Project Principal Manager

Responsibilities As a Project Principal Manager, you will: Direct and coordinate work of single or multidisciplinary teams throughout the project’s lifecycle (from development & initiation to close‑out). Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers, focusing on project management skills development. Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large multidisciplinary projects, serving as a champion for cross business‑group pursuits and initiatives. Establish client relationships and engage in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings. Serve as PIC, Project Sponsor, or Client Manager for select projects and clients. Be responsible for any project assignment regardless of market sector, business class, size, visibility, number of disciplines, technical complexity or number of staff. Produce and coordinate several concurrent projects. Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in collaboration with other staff and stakeholders. Partner with market‑sector and business‑class leadership to advance brand with regard to innovative technology and support staff engagement. Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the project life cycle, ensuring completion of deliverables on schedule. Track financial aspects of projects, adjusting work effort to remain within agreed‑to budget and schedule. Work with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews. Implement QA/QC procedures. Perform other duties as needed, including workshare management. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 15 years of related experience. Minimum 7 years of project management experience. Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position. MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience is a plus). Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an employee‑owned culture.
