Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN)

Anticipated End Date: 2026-05-31 Position Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) Location: Round Rock, TX – 1650 Round Rock Avenue Schedule: PRN – Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 4pm. Must work onsite at the posted location. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered, unless an accommodation is required by law. Responsibilities Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy. Completes admission processes as directed by the Center Director. Performs physical assessments on each patient as warranted and for new consults as required by diagnosis. Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record. Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and follows up on any identified problems. Communicates effectively with IV team members on patient status and observations. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times by adhering to HIPAA laws and regulations. Evaluates the patient’s response to therapy and documents findings. Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans. Participates in the Quality Improvement program. Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment. Provides clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may support new market launches. May require extensive travel to work sites and other locations as necessary. Qualifications MS in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Current, active, valid, and unrestricted NP license to practice within the applicable state. Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. Multi-state licensure if providing services in multiple states. Completion of a Tuberculosis test. Hepatitis B vaccine or a signed waiver. Preferred Skills & Experience Ability to obtain credentialing with major payors in the market, including Medicare/Medicaid. Experience with IV insertion and maintenance, including Port, PICC, and Peripheral Line. Infusion reaction management experience. Titration experience. Medication mixing and infusion experience.
