Cattlemen Road, Sarasota, FL 34235 We are currently looking for a Breakfast Attendant to join our team. Our beautifully appointed all‑suite hotel (133 suites) – the Homewood Suites by Hilton, is off I‑75, next door to Nathan Benderson Park, and favored by rowing teams, paddlers, and cyclists. The Mall at University Town Center is steps away offering a variety of shopping and dining options. Our suites have kitchens and plenty of space for our guests and their families. We enjoy meeting guests from all over the world. The Homewood Suites is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award‑winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates. The Breakfast Attendant prepares and assists with service of the complimentary buffet‑style breakfast. Responsibilities include: Greeting guests as they come into the breakfast area or lobby, and assisting with any questions or issues that may arise. Setting up and maintaining the breakfast buffet: preparing foods such as cut fruit, coffee and juices; stocking coffee, juice, and milk containers; setting out cold foods such as sweet rolls, muffins, and cereal for self‑service; warming and setting out hot foods such as hash browns, French toast, etc.; and setting up serving dishes, utensils, cups and other paper/china products. Maintaining cleanliness of the breakfast area and kitchen during and after breakfast hours, clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated, wiping up spills, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming kitchen and dining areas, and removing trash. Taking inventory of food, beverages and other supplies needed for each day, ordering or purchasing food supplies as needed, and organizing and putting away food orders.
