Exciting Opportunity for Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00-07:00
- Location: Salem, Virginia
- Unit: Inpatient Rehab
- Building: Main 4E


- Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 35
- Patient Ratios: 5-7:1
- Tech Availability: 2-4 techs per census


- Type of Equipment:
- Vitals machine
- Baxter IV pumps
- SCDs
- Bladder scanner


- Documentation System: Meditech


- Scheduling Requirements:
- 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend


- Floating Policy: May be floated to other Med Surg departments


- Patient Experience Requirements:
- Rehab experience preferred


- Hiring Profile:
- Must Have:
- Rehab experience
- BLS certification
- Virginia License
- Preferred:
- Med Surg experience
- Advanced Skills Needed: None


- Procedures Performed on Unit:
- Medication administration (IVs, PICC, PEG tube)
- Bladder scans
- Trach care
- Tube feeding
- Foley catheter
- Bladder irrigation
- Blood administration


- Dress Code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs
