Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.Job Summary: This role is responsible for forecasting, budgeting and reporting financials and KPIs for the RBI Business Units. This position also involves providing in-depth financial analysis, strategic insights and decision-making support to business leaders. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and have direct exposure to senior leaders of the organization.RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the full cycle of financial planning for assigned business units; budgeting, forecasting, quarterly reforecast, and long-range planningSupport the preparation of monthly and quarterly performance reporting for senior management, including variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) that goes beyond the numbers to explain the 'why' behind performanceApply AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and automation techniques (Python, SQL, Power BI) to improve the speed and accuracy of forecasting and reportingUtilize financial systems, tools, and databases to extract and analyze data, taking responsibility for protecting and improving the quality of RBI’s financial dataContinuously look for inefficiencies in existing processes and proactively propose and implement improvementsContribute to problem-framing, ad hoc deep dives, and resolution of ambiguous business questionsWork cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Development, and Brand Finance teams, bring a financial lens to business conversations and help stakeholders understand the implications of their decisionsAssist in preparing executive-level presentations and board-ready materials, developing your ability to tell a clear, compelling financial storySkills & Experience:1–4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, Big 4, or corporate FP&A highly desiredUniversity degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or other quantitative fieldAdvanced proficiency with Excel and other MS suite applications; working knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is a strong plusGenuine curiosity about AI tools for financial workflows; you have experimented with or are eager to explore Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools for finance use casesStrong written and verbal communication skills; you can translate a complex financial analysis into a clear, concise narrative for a senior executives AND non-financial audiencesProven ability to deliver under pressure; you meet tight deadlines without sacrificing qualityEntrepreneurial and proactive mindset with high attention to detail and desire to learn, be challenged, and improve processes with ability to function both independently and in a fast-paced team environment effectivelyBenefits at all of our global offices are focused on physical, mental and financial wellness.
