Advanced Practice Provider OpportunityPrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants) to join a high-volume walk-in clinic in Chicago Heights. This role focuses on providing same-day, episodic care for a broad range of acute and non-emergent conditions in an outpatient setting.Providers will work independently and collaboratively within a supportive clinical team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.The clinic operates on 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM), offering flexible scheduling and extended access to care for the community.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat patients presenting to a walk-in clinic for acute and non-emergent conditionsPerform focused history and physical examsOrder and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)Diagnose and manage common conditions such as infections, minor injuries, rashes, musculoskeletal complaints, and other episodic concernsProvide treatment plans, prescribe medications, and coordinate appropriate follow-up careDeliver patient education on diagnoses, medications, and self-careCollaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff as neededDocument all encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)Maintain compliance with clinic protocols, safety standards, and quality metrics12-hour shifts availableClinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PMFlexible scheduling options including weekdays, weekends, and rotating coverageQualificationsCertified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)Active Illinois license (or eligibility to obtain)National certification in respective disciplinePrior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or walk-in clinic settings preferredStrong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of presenting complaintsComfortable working in a fast-paced, independent practice environmentExcellent communication and patient care skillsExperience with EMR systems preferred2+ year in urgent care, emergency medicine, retail clinic, or similar episodic care settingPay TransparencyPrime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is between $110,000-$125,000 plus production bonus on an annualized basis.
