Job Description As a Security Officer Warehouse Patrol Full Time in Palmetto, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through clear communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed09:00 PM - 05:00 AMThur09:00 PM - 05:00 AMFri09:00 PM - 05:00 AMSat09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and reporting requirements. Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and observed conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
