Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults and geriatrics in a med-surg/telemetry setting, including postoperative and acute medical cases
- Monitor and assess patient status, document findings in the Epic charting system, and communicate changes to the care team
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered; perform basic procedures such as IV starts and phlebotomy
- Support airway management and oxygen therapy as needed, including non-invasive ventilation and airway clearance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage complex diagnoses (sepsis, respiratory failure, AKI, COPD, post-op care, trauma, diabetes, GI issues) and participate in rapid response and code events when indicated
- Maintain patient safety through adherence to isolation precautions, wound care, drains/lines management, and routine post-operative care

Requirements
- Active RN license in Idaho or a compact state in hand at time of submittal
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years med-surg/telemetry experience; travel experience required
- Trauma experience: Level II preferred
- Proficiency with Epic charting; ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient environment
- RN degree required; ability to work nights and float as allowed by competencies (1:6 patient ratio on the unit)
