• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,500-$1,580
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Weekend Coverage: Required, with flexible coverage needs
• Floating: May be required based on competencies

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills
• Comfortable working in a busy acute care environment with changing patient care priorities

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, COPD, confusion/AMS, AKI, trauma, respiratory failure, bowel obstruction, pyelonephritis, diabetes, and cardiac concerns
• Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical needs
• Document care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record using Epic
• Administer medications and therapies according to facility standards and nursing best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning
• Maintain professionalism while delivering care in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting
• Support patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance at all times
