Job Description As a Porter at Dbox, you will be responsible for ensuring that all public and common areas within our commercial or institutional buildings remain clean and orderly. Your role will involve a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the premises. Main Duties and Responsibilities Clean and maintain sidewalks, medians, walkways, and parking lots. Remove trash, including cigarette butts, from all designated areas. Sweep driveways, alleys, and parking lots, and pick up loose trash from landscaped areas. Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and clean receptacle lids daily. Transport and dispose of waste in dumpsters. Push grocery carts to designated locations and remove unauthorized signs or stickers from windows and landscaping. Report any security or emergency situations, including break-ins or damaged property, to supervisors and security officers. Perform additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned. Experience using a blower. Knowledge of basic safety practices. Ability to use a smartphone for Service Fusion, email, dispatch, and property reports. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Job Requirements and Conditions Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of basic safety practices. Ability to use a smartphone for Service Fusion, email, dispatch, and property reports. Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, and stoop. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
