Director, Product (PropTech)

Role Summary MRI Software is seeking a Director, Product Management – Sales, Leasing, Assurance & Marketing (Property Management Products). The role leads a portfolio of SaaS products across Sales, Leasing, Assurance and Marketing, owning strategy, roadmap, execution, and outcomes while managing a team of Product Managers. The director represents the North American arm, collaborates with global peers, and works closely with Engineering, Design, Data, GTM, and Customer teams. The position modernizes products through platform thinking, API‑first design, and AI integration. Core Responsibilities Product Strategy and Portfolio Leadership Define and drive a clear portfolio strategy aligned to global direction, translate company goals into strategy and roadmap, lead portfolio rationalization and lifecycle management, and drive platform alignment across products to reduce duplication and increase reuse. AI‑Enabled Product Transformation Identify and implement AI use cases that improve customer workflows and internal efficiency, embed AI into core product experiences, and leverage LLMs, automation, and data pipelines to modernize legacy capabilities. Execution and Delivery Ensure high‑quality roadmap execution across multiple teams and regions, focus on impact rather than output, establish consistent product practices, remove blockers, and drive accountability. Customer and Market Leadership Maintain deep understanding of customers, competitors, and market dynamics; lead discovery practices to generate actionable insight; ensure products solve real problems and deliver measurable value. Commercial Alignment Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on GTM execution, support pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions, and align product strategy with revenue and growth targets. Stakeholder Leadership Operate effectively with senior executives across regions, communicate clearly, drive alignment across conflicting priorities, and represent the portfolio in executive forums. Team Leadership Build and lead a high‑performing team of Product Managers, coach for strong product thinking and execution discipline, set clear expectations and accountability. Performance Expectations Clear portfolio strategy understood across regions Roadmaps tied to measurable outcomes AI embedded in real customer workflows Faster delivery with higher quality Reduced product fragmentation Strong alignment with North America leadership Product Managers operating at a consistently high standard Experience and Skills 10+ years in Product Management, including leadership of Product Managers Experience owning multi‑product SaaS portfolios Proven ability to operate at executive level Strong experience with platform models, APIs, and integrations Deep understanding of SaaS metrics – adoption, retention, expansion Experience with outcome‑driven roadmaps and product operating models Practical experience applying AI in products, with LLMs, automation, or data‑driven features Familiarity with modern AI tooling and workflows Strong track record of delivering complex products at scale Comfortable working across distributed teams and time zones (USA, Australia, India, South Africa, United Kingdom, etc.) Data‑driven decision making Clear, direct communication and influence skill with senior stakeholders Ability to manage tension, trade‑offs, and ambiguity Domain: real estate experience helpful but not required; complex, multi‑product enterprise environments preferred Professional Profile Systems‑oriented thinker, not feature‑oriented Bias to action and outcomes Strong technical understanding for product architecture discussions Ability to simplify complexity Comfortable with ambiguity and scale Motivational leader who raises standards and challenges team members Equal Opportunity Statement MRI is proud to be an inclusive employer.
