Must be able to have open, polite communication with patients and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Appropriate communication with surgeon/provider necessary on a regular basis. Displays customer friendly manner to those presenting to the department, provides related information to the patient. Demonstrates a working knowledge of OR schedule, excel, word and other office equipment. Detail oriented and organized person who maintains a positive and friendly attitude while dealing with stressful and demanding situations. Knowledge of basic medical terminology with excellent oral, written communication and computer skills. This is a full time position.
