Pay Rate: $100/hr to $118/hr on W2 (All inclusive)

Type: Contract

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support a large-scale SAP S/4 ERP Implementation program operating within a hybrid Agile framework. The RTE will support Release Managers by providing end-to-end release management capabilities, facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) activities, managing risks and dependencies, and driving delivery performance through metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Release Train Engineer for an SAP S/4 ERP implementation program.
• Coach and support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and facilitate ART ceremonies and events.
• Coordinate and manage risks, dependencies, impediments, and release activities across teams.
• Monitor sprint execution, release progress, and delivery performance through IT performance management and reporting.
• Create and maintain release timelines, milestones, increments, and delivery cadences.
• Track execution of features and capabilities and support estimation activities.
• Measure ART maturity, delivery performance, KPIs, OKRs, and other outcome metrics.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other analytics tools.
• Perform data mining, data analysis, and strategic insight generation from multiple data sources, databases, APIs, and repositories.
• Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery execution.
• Identify resource constraints and provide input on staffing needs to address bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting large SAP ERP technology programs and implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAFe and Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience facilitating Agile Release Train activities and ceremonies.
• Expertise in IT performance measurement, reporting, and delivery metrics.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Power Automate, Python, and other analytical tools.
• Experience in data mining, analytics, dashboard development, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with enterprise Agile planning tools such as Digital.ai Agility, Planview, Smartsheet, Atlassian Jira Align, or Apptio Targetprocess.
• Minimum 5+ years of Agile delivery experience in roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, or similar leadership positions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Release Train Engineer (RTE) experience.
• Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or Project Management certifications (SA, SPC, RTE, CSM, CSP, PMI, etc.).
