• Oversee federal/state income tax returns, sales tax, escheat, and property tax filings.
• Manage tax audits and related inquiries.
• Review tax implications of acquisitions, divestitures, and asset transfers.
• Lead tax planning, provisions, deferred taxes, and compliance.
• Maintain tax controls, processes, calendars, and exemption filings.
• Lead and develop tax staff while monitoring changes in tax law.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation; Master's preferred.
• CPA required.
• 7-10+ years of progressive tax experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Death care or trust administration experience highly preferred.
• Multi-entity and tax-exempt organization experience.
• Strong knowledge of trust taxation and cemetery/funeral regulations.
• OneSource, BNA, or CCH experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical/communication abilities.
