HR Project Manager

A client is seeking an HR Project Manager for a contract role based out of Lexington, KY. This individual will be responsible for the following:

Project Leadership:
Lead HR projects such as HRIS implementations (e.g., Workday), payroll system upgrades, benefits administration, and compliance initiatives.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in HR project management or HR systems implementation.
Strong understanding of HR processes (Hire-to-Retire, Payroll, Benefits).
Experience with HR technology platforms (Workday preferred).
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, MS Project).


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP or similar project management certification.
Experience managing vendor relationships and large-scale HR transformations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
