What You’ll Do Lead Project Delivery Support aviation projects from concept through construction, including airfield design, pavements, utilities, and supporting infrastructure Collaborate closely with project managers and technical leaders across RS&H’s aviation practice Oversee design efforts, ensure quality control, and support scope, schedule, and budget management Coordinate with airport staff, FAA representatives, consultants, and stakeholders Prepare plans, specifications, technical memoranda, and supporting documentation Develop Technical & Leadership Skills Apply FAA standards and aviation best practices to solve complex design challenges Grow your ability to make independent technical decisions with guidance from senior mentors Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture Take on increasing levels of project responsibility over time Grow Relationships & the Idaho Aviation Market Strengthen RS&H’s relationship with Boise Airport (BOI) Participate in client meetings and help maintain trusted‑advisor relationships Contribute to proposals, interviews, and strategic growth initiatives Represent RS&H at local and regional aviation industry events Partner with regional leadership to expand RS&H’s aviation footprint in Idaho What We’re Looking For Required Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program 7+ years of civil engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in aviation PE license in Idaho or ability to obtain within 6 months Strong understanding of aviation design fundamentals Experience preparing aviation plans, details, and technical specifications Ability to lead tasks or components of small to moderate projects Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Ideal Candidate Experience leading project teams or coordinating multidisciplinary efforts Familiarity with FAA standards and airport design criteria Comfortable working directly with clients and stakeholders Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills Self‑motivated with an interest in growing a regional practice Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship and leadership development What We Offer Immediate participation in employee ownership Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Professional development and technical training Mentorship from experienced, nationally recognized aviation leaders Opportunity to help grow RS&H’s aviation presence in Idaho Supportive, collaborative team environment with a strong focus on work‑life balance Boise’s exceptional quality of life, with access to outdoor recreation and a thriving professional community An Equal Opportunity Employer.
