LEASING CONSULTANT – AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Cleveland, OH | ️ Monday–Friday | ⏰ 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Up to $20/Hour DOE

Are you an experienced Leasing Consultant with a background in affordable housing and tax credit properties ? We’re looking for a professional, organized, and resident-focused Leasing Consultant to join an apartment community in Cleveland, OH .

This is a great opportunity for someone who understands the ins and outs of affordable housing compliance, recertifications, and resident relations .

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist prospective residents with the leasing process
• Conduct property tours and explain available apartment homes
• Process applications and complete leasing paperwork
• Handle annual and interim recertifications
• Maintain accurate resident files and documentation
• Verify income and other eligibility requirements
• Work with affordable housing and tax credit (LIHTC) programs
• Respond to resident questions and requests
• Coordinate appointments, move-ins, and move-outs
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Assist with general office and property management duties

✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required experience:

• Previous Leasing Consultant or Property Management experience
• Affordable housing experience
• Tax credit / LIHTC experience
• Hands-on recertification experience
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with computers and property management software

PAY & SCHEDULE

Pay: Up to $20/hour , depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
