Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Duchesne Preschool is looking for a full-time lead in our aftercare program for children aged 3-5. Candidate would be responsible for planning and implementing enrichment activities, helping ensure proper student-teacher ratios are maintained, communicate with parents during pick up, and work with fellow teachers and after care assistants. Hours are Monday-Friday, 11:00-5:30. Start date: August 19th, 2026.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- ability and desire to work as part of a team
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication skills
- experience working with preschool aged children
- ability to work in a faith-based environment
- ability to create a positive, loving and safe environment for students
- Safe Environment certification and background check required

Education and Experience
Prior work in childcare or education preferred.
