Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT MR certification for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• MRI Tech role within a hospital Radiology/Cardiology department
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, on set consecutive nights
• ER patient population experience required
• Also performs X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities
• MRI exams include abdomen and pelvis, MRA, brain, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac MR with/without contrast
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• No on-call requirement
• Potential to float between sister facilities within the state

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT MR certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable
• Pending license accepted
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• ER setting experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in contrast media prep/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract but may be considered at a lower bill rate
• Returning staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or per-diem
• All RTO must be submitted upfront during the application process, with limited flexibility post-offer
• Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• May be required to float between sister facilities as part of the assignment
