House Supervisor

In Nursing Support Services at Main Campus McWane Building Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Evening Shift, Varies. Summary: Coordinates the intake and placement of all admissions and intra-unit transfers in accordance with the Children's of Alabama House Coordinator Guidelines and Admission Policy. Collaborates with physician and nursing staff to prioritize admissions and intra-unit transfers based on medical needs. Communicates and collaborates with all departments as appropriate to maximize efficiency of bed utilization and expedite the throughput process. Serves as a designated leadership representative accountable and responsible for coordinating provision of efficient patient care operations on their assigned shifts. Other information Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills required. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within strict deadlines. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Demonstrated excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative setting. Ability to effectively communicate with patients / families, physicians, hospital staff and all public services related to emergency patient situations. Credentials with Equivalent Qualifications Registered Nurse AL Single State or any of the following equivalent qualifications below: Registered Nurse AL NLC Multi State Registered Nurse Non-AL NLC Multi State Basic Life Support Education with Equivalent Qualifications Essential: High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent Associate of Science Nursing in Nursing Nonessential: Bachelor of Science Nursing in Nursing Experience with Equivalent Qualifications Schedule: Varies, Day-Evening Shift, 12-Hour Shifts #J-18808-Ljbffr
