Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evening Shift (5x8 Hours, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) | Monday through Friday | Approximately 1 weekend per 6 weeks | Holiday coverage as needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Operating Room setting during evening shift hours
• Participate in general surgical and trauma cases as assigned
• Respond to call assignments as needed, which may include weekend shifts
• Complete required facility orientation modules during scheduled orientation days
• Adhere to facility emergency team protocols, which may include remaining on-site or serving on a relief team during emergency events as directed by unit management

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Louisiana RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room specialty
• AHA certifications required
• Current NURSYS report required (must be within 4 weeks of submission date)
• Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by address on driver's license)
• Two Manager or Supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RN references are not acceptable; PDF format required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both general OR and trauma settings strongly preferred
• BLS certification preferred; training available if not currently held
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
