CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position is a night shift role, providing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment focused on cardiovascular services.
Shift Details:
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Every Other Weekend: Yes
Unit Description:
This dynamic CVICU unit deals with a variety of complex cases, with a particular focus on providing care for patients requiring advanced cardiac support. The unit manages everything except transplants and requires proficiency in handling critical equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a critical care setting.
- Required Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Experience with:
- ECMO
- Impella
- Balloon pump
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
