CT Technologist

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. This is a weekend schedule with every weekend required.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of duties that focus on patient care and imaging procedures. The position involves the preparation and operation of specialized CT scanning machinery while ensuring patient safety and adherence to safety protocols.


Responsibilities

• Explain scanning procedures to patients, answer questions, review medical histories, and verify physician orders.
• Calibrate, warm up, and operate specialized CT scanning machinery following safety protocols.
• Screen patients for contrast allergies and safely administer oral or intravenous (IV) contrast materials.
• Correctly position patients on the scanner table and use precise radiation shielding techniques.
• Review, analyze, and optimize digital files for clarity and accuracy before sending them to radiologists.
• Maintain and update patient charts and procedural details within electronic health records and PACS systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist is required.
• Active ARRT certification is required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
