Materials Developer (Hybird)

Location: Beaverton, OR (Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite) Schedule: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri Duration: 8 Months Compensation Range: $35-37/hr Join a global leader in athletic footwear and apparel to drive the functional excellence and readiness of innovative running materials. You will bridge the gap between high-level design intent and manufacturing capabilities to deliver high-performance, sustainable product solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to influence seasonal direction and shape the footwear that serves elite athletes and consumers worldwide. Responsibilities Manage the material creation process for assigned footwear lines to ensure on-time delivery across all critical seasonal milestones. Implement sustainable material solutions and costing frameworks to meet corporate eco-friendly targets and profitability goals. Partner with product creation, design, and manufacturing vendors to align development processes with technical production capabilities. Oversee the testing and commercialization readiness of materials to guarantee uncompromised performance and physical shelf excellence. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in materials or product creation processes, specifically within the footwear or apparel industries. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a solid understanding of material manufacturing and production workflows. Documented portfolio of managing complex project timelines and executing seasonal product palettes from concept to factory floor. Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills, a self-starter mindset, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials, Chemistry, or Engineering.
