Executive Search Talent Analyst

ProFound Executive Search is hiring part-time Executive Search Talent Analysts to join our firm in a virtual, contract role. The role reports to ProFound's Founder and CEO.

Position Summary

We are seeking analytical and detail-oriented professionals to support the initial review and evaluation of applicants across ProFound's executive searches. This individual will review resumes and application materials against the qualifications established for each search, assess alignment, and document brief, clear rationale for their candidate evaluation.

This role is well suited for someone with experience in talent acquisition and/or talent assessment who enjoys evaluating professional backgrounds, identifying relevant and transferable experience, and making thoughtful, evidence-based evaluations. It also offers an opportunity to deepen experience assessing executive-level talent and gain exposure to a range of leadership roles and organizations while working primarily behind the scenes.

This individual will independently manage assigned applicant review responsibilities using ProFound's CRM and established search processes. The position involves minimal direct interaction with clients and candidates, offering significant flexibility and autonomy, while playing an important role in ensuring that applicants receive timely, consistent, and thorough consideration.

Position Responsibilities

• Position Calibration: Develop an understanding of each position specification and search client, incorporating guidance from the search team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of applicant evaluations.
• Applicant Review: Review resumes, applications, and other available candidate information against the position specification, required qualifications, and preferred qualifications, for each executive search.
• Candidate Evaluation: Apply ProFound's established evaluation criteria to assess candidate alignment and consistently categorize applicants based on their qualifications and experience.
• Evaluation Notes: Document brief, clear notes explaining considerations for subsequent review by the search team.
• CRM Management: Accurately record candidate evaluations, notes, statuses, and other required information within ProFound's CRM.
• Timely Review: Review new applicants each weekday during active searches to support timely candidate consideration and maintain an accurate, current applicant pipeline.
• Process Improvement: Identify recurring questions, patterns, or opportunities to improve applicant evaluation criteria, CRM workflows, and the efficiency and quality of ProFound's applicant review process.
• Team Collaboration: Participate in periodic internal meetings as needed to discuss specific searches and / or team processes.
• Brand Representation: Represent ProFound internally and externally with professionalism and in a manner consistent with the firm's values.

Time Commitment

This is a flexible, part-time role with a workload that will vary based on ProFound’s active search volume and the number of candidates associated with each search. This individual must be available to review new applicants on a regular basis during active searches, each weekday, to support timely candidate consideration and maintain an accurate, current applicant pipeline.

Location

This is a 100% remote role. The role offers significant flexibility in when and where work is completed; however, applicant review must be performed consistently each weekday during active searches to ensure timely candidate consideration. The individual will be expected to participate in select scheduled team meetings, with substantial flexibility outside of those commitments.

Compensation

This role features a performance-based compensation model tied to ProFound’s executive search volume and client engagements. Compensation includes a defined percentage of contracted search engagement fees for searches supported by this role, creating earning potential that grows with the firm’s search volume.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
• Experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or executive search, with demonstrated experience reviewing and evaluating candidate qualifications against position requirements
• Analytical skills, with the ability to distinguish required qualifications, preferred qualifications, transferable experience, and potential gaps
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and consistency
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to capture evaluation rationale in brief, clear notes
• Experience working within a CRM, applicant tracking system, database, or similar technology platforms
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently meet established timelines with limited oversight
• Ability to handle candidate and client information with discretion and maintain appropriate confidentiality
• Comfort operating in a small business or entrepreneurial environment where priorities and processes continue to evolve

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of disability inclusion and accessibility, with a preference for CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or similar certification
