Travel Occupational Therapist -Outpatient (Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist -Outpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Woodruff, WI.

Contract Details

• M-F 4 9hr days
  
• Start Date: 5/26/2026
  
• Contract: 13 weeks
  
• Location: Woodruff, WI 54568
  
• Hourly Pay: $ 34.00
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $2164.00
  
• Weekend Requirements: possible coverage for inpatients on the weekends
  
• On Call/Call-Back: Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
  
• Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36
  
• RADIUS RULE: 50 MILES FROM FACILITY exp 5/8
  
• Charting Experience Preferred: EPIC
  
• Dress Code: Business casual
  
• Vaccination Policy: During the flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an system policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.
  
• Orientation Hours (Non Billable): 8 Hours
  

** Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
  
• Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers
  
• Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
  
• Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment
  
• Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
  
• Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief
  
• Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
  
• Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)
  
• Pay package details provided upon offer
  

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have training working with the adult/geriatric population with a variety of orthopedic, neurological and functional mobility diagnosis.
  
• Must have WI State OT license,
  
• BLS/BCLS certification is required
  
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
  

Compliance/Screening (Pre-Start):

• Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  
• Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
