Position Objective: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Responsibilities: Safely and accurately performs and reports echocardiology tests according to approved organizational procedures and productivity standards. Monitors supply levels, moves supplies to specified storage areas within the department, and maintains the integrity of the supplies. Recognizes artifacts and eliminates probable source; troubleshoots minor equipment problems. Alerts team when clinical data could be compromised. Maintains equipment in a safe and sanitary condition. Operates equipment in accordance with all department safety guidelines & maintains activity and usage logs as required/needed. Educational/Experience Requirements: GED or High Diploma Specialized training in Echocardiography preferred. Two years’ experience performing adult echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms preferred. Required License/Certifications: Registered Echo Sonographer (RCVT, RDCS) with the ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) with CCI on hire CPR Certified.
