May also perform emergency repairs and assist with equipment installations throughout rest of plant as needed. Will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily job duties. Technicians will undergo Chemical Handling training prior to the start of performing these duties and will actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30amDuties and Responsibilities:Perform Repairs and equipment installations mainly in Drill manufacturing Dept.Work at least 1 full weekend a month to cover all production/manufacturing needs, not just Drill.Dismantle devices to gain access to parts requiring inspection or repairInspect equipment systems to a level that will identify possible failures and repair or schedule repairs as neededSupply their own set of basic hand tools needed to perform the job tasks assigned (a list of required/recommended tools is available from the Maintenance Manager)Communicate the completion of all work performed by filling out a maintenance request or a preventative maintenance formCommunicate the status of all incomplete tasks verbally and/or via e-mail to the technician taking over the task or the Maintenance ManagerAdhere to all environmental, safety and health policies plans and proceduresComplete all departmental documentation neatly, completely and accuratelyTrain other technicians in the skills required to perform preventative maintenance on equipmentFollow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicalsEssential Knowledge and Skills:Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the jobKnowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical equipmentAbility to use various tools, to include but not limited to, basic hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screw drivers, measuring devices, etc.), power tools (e.g., drills, saws, grinders, etc.)Ability to follow technical data and instructions (e.g., operation manuals, schematics, and diagrams)Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 40 pounds without strainingMinimum Qualification:3 years of preventative maintenance, repair and/or installation of industrial/commercial electro-mechanical equipment using skills associated with trades such as: CNC operation and repair, electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, plumbing and weldingLicensing and journeyman status is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredTTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$49,493 - $78,231Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
