Description We’re looking for a Houston-based Business Development Manager to drive growth for our oil & gas technology across Texas and the broader US market. This role includes a highly competitive compensation package. We are focused on customer acquisition and retention. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for Houston, the broader U.S. market, and select international opportunities to drive DV8 Energy’s growth. Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with key producers, operators, and service companies that can benefit from DV8’s innovative solutions. Lead introductory and discovery meetings to assess client needs and align DV8 offerings with market opportunities. Coordinate and deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and technical overviews to prospective and existing clients. Collaborate with executive leadership to prepare proposals, pricing models, and commercial terms that maximize value for both clients and DV8. Represent DV8 Energy at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and industry credibility. Manage, nurture, and expand the existing customer base, ensuring long‑term client satisfaction and strategic growth. Skills Demonstrated top‑tier success in technical sales within energy, automation, production optimization, or similar industrial technology sectors. Deep expertise in oil & gas operations, including artificial lift systems, well performance optimization, VFDs/POCs, and IIoT analytics—combined with a proven ability to quickly master and clearly communicate advanced DV8 solutions. Qualifications Minimum 3–5 years of demonstrated success in technology, energy, or business solutions sales, with a track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue growth. Experience in automation or energy sector sales, including VFDs, rod lift, ESPs, artificial lift systems, production optimization, or field operations, is highly desirable. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and client engagement skills, with a strong focus on delivering a superior customer experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and deliver impactful presentations. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously. Self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams. Marketing, commercial strategy, or business development experience is a plus. Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and conferences as needed. Based in the Houston area or willing to relocate, with a strong understanding of the U.S. energy market and global business expansion opportunities. CRM & Sales Tools: Salesforce (or equivalent) for pipeline management, client tracking, and reporting. Productivity & Collaboration: Google Workspace. Marketing & Outreach: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email marketing platforms, and industry database tools. Presentation & Demo Tools: Google Meet or other virtual meeting platforms; ability to deliver live and recorded product demos. Data & Analytics: Familiarity with sales performance dashboards, reporting tools, and market intelligence platforms is a plus.
