Locum Physician OB Hospitalist (Houston, TX)

Required Skills:

Valid medical license to practice in Texas
Board-certified or Board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care and management of labor and delivery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital setting
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Prior locum or temporary physician experience
Additional certifications such as NRP or RNC-OB

Preferred Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
At least 2 years of obstetrics and gynecology practice, with hospital-based experience preferred
Recent clinical practice in a hospital setting within the last 3 years

Other Requirements:

Must be willing to start on or after 12/31/2025
Ability to work flexible hours, including call shifts
Compliance with all hospital safety and credentialing standards
Willingness to travel for assignments, with reimbursement covered when applicable
