Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead repair division, overseeing both shop and field operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for maximizing people, equipment, scheduling, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. What You’ll Do Lead and manage shop and field repair operations. Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee development. Manage daily scheduling and resource allocation for personnel and equipment. Own the division’s P&L , budgets, forecasting, and production goals. Develop and maintain resource-loaded shop and field schedules. Prepare and coordinate estimates for shop and field repair projects. Plan and execute repairs involving steam turbines, turbine generator components, and heavy machinery . Establish production goals and develop execution plans that deliver profitable results. Monitor performance against targets and take corrective action when needed. Coordinate with operations leadership to optimize scheduling and staffing. Support quality management processes, procedures, and continuous improvement. Maintain strong relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and suppliers. Travel within and outside the continental U.S. as required. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent plus Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR 15+ years of related experience 10+ years of operations management experience , including forecasting, scheduling, and real-time operations. Demonstrated knowledge of steam turbine repair , including machining, welding, and blading. Experience with quality management programs and developing/implementing processes and procedures. Knowledge of power industry procedures and processes . Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and passport. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
