Come grow with us! Carlson Print Group produces custom print pieces using the latest in UV and conventional sheet-fed digital printing.
Shift: Regular schedule is three days a week, 12-hour shifts (6 pm to 6 am). You need to have the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Purpose : Assists in the set up and maintenance of the press and assembling materials for jobs.
Duties
- Reviews the job ticket with Press Operator prior to setting up the job
- Ensures that all of the materials (ink, coatings, proofs, samples, and plates) are available for the job
- Assists in watching for proper sizing, finishing, and problems during the job run
- Keeps the work area and equipment clean, neat and organized
Qualifications
- 3 years experience in a sheet fed printing environment required, KBA experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow oral and written job instructions
- Regular and predictable attendance required, including availability to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Able to move / lift 20 lbs. frequently
- Push / pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to be on feet continuously for entire shift
- Excellent hand / eye coordination, manual dexterity
