Fund Accountant

JCW is partnering with a venture capital firm to identify a Fund Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with 2–3 years of experience to deepen their expertise in fund operations within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. What You'll Do Maintain the general ledger and prepare financial statements for multiple venture capital funds Calculate and record investment transactions, capital calls, and distributions Assist with the preparation of investor capital account statements and quarterly reporting packages Support the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors Reconcile portfolio company valuations and track fund-level performance metrics Work closely with fund administrators and assist with management company accounting as needed What We're Looking For 2–3 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within venture capital, private equity, or a fund administrator servicing alternative investments Experience working with closed-ended fund structures, including familiarity with capital calls, distributions, and fund lifecycle accounting Solid understanding of investment fund structures, capital accounts, and waterfall mechanics CPA or progress toward CPA preferred Proficiency in fund accounting systems (Allvue, Investran, Yardi, or similar) and strong Excel skills Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple funds simultaneously, and a team-oriented mindset To learn more about this opportunity, please reach out to Haley Rizzo at View email address on click.appcast.io or View phone number on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr JCW Group
