Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded Am Law 200 ranked international law firm seeking a 4th to 6th year Technology Transactions Associate to join its San Francisco, CA office on an in office basis.

This opportunity focuses on sophisticated, technology driven commercial work, including negotiating and advising on agreements that support product development, licensing, commercialization, and ongoing platform operations for innovative businesses.

The firm offers an integrated transactional platform with regular collaboration across corporate, intellectual property, privacy, and regulatory teams. The environment is partner led, commercially focused, and well suited to associates who enjoy fast moving deal support alongside standalone commercial contracting.

The Opportunity

The associate will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of technology and intellectual property agreements, including SaaS and cloud services agreements, licensing arrangements, development and collaboration agreements, and other complex commercial contracts. The role also includes advising on technology and intellectual property issues in connection with corporate transactions, including diligence, structuring, and related deal support.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a 4th to 6th year Technology Transactions Associate with:

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in technology transactions at a major law firm
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating technology, licensing, and commercial agreements
• Experience supporting technology related aspects of M&A and other strategic transactions
• Excellent academic credentials and strong written and oral communication skills
• Active California Bar membership or ability to obtain admission
