CTE Program Support Specialist JobID: 9900 Location: JB Hensler Date Posted: 6/18/2026 Date Available: 26-27 School Year Primary Purpose Serve as a district liaison to the outside community, industry partners, and parents. Serve as department liaison to teachers, campuses, and other departments. Collaborate with district personnel for the purpose of facilitating the awareness and development of Career and Technical programs and events. Coordinate work‑based learning opportunities and facilitate employability skills lessons. Qualifications Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED; or Two years of study at an institution of higher education totaling 48 hours; or Associate’s degree or Passing score on the "paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies" exam, to be administered by Alvin ISD. Special Knowledge/Skills: Accuracy in use of computer – Microsoft Word, Excel, Data Entry, Canva. Demonstrated ability as instructional support for staff and students. Ability to meet established deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours when necessary. Media platforms including Google Sites, Instagram, Facebook, Skylert. Experience: Three years experience in an instructional para position in an educational setting.
